Kevin Harvick reacting to his exit acknowledged that it was pretty tough for him to lose after pitting ahead of the winner. He pointed out that it had to make a pass after he got caught up in the parade, when he should have been leading them.

It was pretty tough. We pitted in front of the 17 (Buescher), and that’s just kind of the way the year has gone. We went from having a chance to lead the parade to be a part of the parade. Just difficult to pass. Not much more you can say,” says Kevin Harvick.
