Mahomes has completely revolutionized the Kansas City Chiefs as they look to build a legacy with the help of HC Andy Reid. There are many who believe that the MVP winner is the best QB in the league. Although his greatness is pretty evident, some are already considering him an all-time great over many faithful contenders.

Chris Broussard recently featured on ‘First Things First’ by Fox Sports. The NFL analyst held a strong opinion about Mahomes and ranked him as the third-best QB of all time. In the process, he snubbed great players like Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers.

“Patrick Mahomes is 3rd best right now. It is Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Patrick Mahomes — that’s it. I have him ahead of Peyton Manning. Mahomes is the show. It is about Mahomes and Andy Reid,” Chris Broussard stated.

Although Mahomes is a great QB who has surpassed many expectations, it’s not fair to compare him to players like Manning and the New York Jets QB who have devoted their entire life to the game and created an immeasurable legacy. However, in due time, Patrick Mahomes surely can challenge for the all-time GOAT title.

The Chiefs won the Super Bowl last season by producing a historic win against the Philadelphia Eagles. Patrick Mahomes delivered an exceptional performance despite an ankle injury and took home the iconic MVP trophy.

Chris Broussard believes the 27-year-old QB can repeat the same feat again and the only companion he needs is Andy Reid. The NFL analyst is showing superior confidence in the HC-QB duo and believes that they will make it despite making numerous changes to the team.

Mahomes’ quality and potential far exceeds any player in the NFL currently. The Chiefs QB is surely on his way to become one of the greats of the game and can triumph over all the competitors with his exceptional skill and ability.

However, the comments by Chris Broussard were labeled absurd in general by fans as he compared Patrick Mahomes to the great Peyton Manning and even snubbed the veteran Aaron Rodgers in the process.
