Russian youngster Andrey Rublev had been playing well, which saw him at the finals, where he lost to the Pole in 3 sets. The final score was 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(8), and Hurkacz saw to it to win the last decided tiebreak and win a title. The first and second sets were totally one-sided, but in the third set, points went back and forth, which carried on to the tiebreak, and eventually Hubert just played better and won the game.

The players are gearing up for the upcoming tournaments. With the Paris Open as the next big ATP tour, players will look to perform their best in that tournament against many other stars. Every year, the Shanghai Open captivates tennis enthusiasts around the globe and sees to it that it becomes a success this year as well. Once again, in the tournament, a favorite wasn’t able to win, and there have been a few early exits from the other top-ranked players.
