Travis Kelce returned to work with the Kansas City Chiefs this week as preparations for his 14th NFL season got underway, while his fiancée Taylor Swift drew attention on the red carpet at the premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles.
Swift attended the film’s world premiere on June 9, where she surprised fans by performing her new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” from the movie’s soundtrack. She also joined Randy Newman for a duet of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” during the event.
Kelce, meanwhile, was absent from the premiere because he was participating in the Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp, which runs from June 9 through June 11. The team shared a video of the veteran tight end practicing on the field and captioned the clip, “87 at work.”
The minicamp marks the beginning of another important offseason period for Kelce as he prepares for the upcoming NFL campaign. The Chiefs are expected to report to training camp in late July.
Apart from this, Kelce will head to Los Angeles later this month for a professional commitment unrelated to football. He and his brother Jason Kelce are scheduled to record a live episode of their New Heights podcast at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on June 15.

The three-time Super Bowl champion also made headlines in May 2026 after acquiring a minority ownership stake in Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Guardians. Announcing the investment, Kelce told ESPN, “I have so much love for this city.”
He added, “I’ve been lucky enough to have a front-row seat to good ownership in my career, and I know the best teams prioritize culture. Everyone is there to play their role, and right now, I’m here to observe and learn and really to support the team and the city when and where I can.”
Kelce later discussed the move on New Heights, describing the opportunity as a personal milestone connected to his hometown roots in northeast Ohio.
Taylor Swift fuels Madison Square Garden wedding buzz with NBA Finals appearance
While Travis Kelce remained focused on football duties, Taylor Swift made another high-profile public appearance on June 10 at Madison Square Garden for Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.
The singer sat courtside wearing a blue “Stevie Knicks” shirt and was joined by sisters Este and Alana Haim, who wore Knicks-themed apparel of their own.

Swift’s appearance came amid ongoing speculation surrounding her future wedding plans with Kelce. Recent reports from TMZ and Page Six have suggested the couple could marry at Madison Square Garden in early July, though those reports remain unconfirmed.
A spokesperson for Swift has not commented publicly on the reports, and Madison Square Garden’s publicly available events calendar lists no scheduled events between June 29 and July 6.
Several celebrities attended the game, including longtime Knicks supporters Ben Stiller and Spike Lee. Swift and Kelce were previously spotted together at Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The NBA Finals appearance continued Swift’s long association with Madison Square Garden, where she first performed during her Fearless Tour in 2009 and later celebrated her 30th birthday during iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in 2019.
