In a span of 16 months and ten UFC outings, Alex Pereira has made himself the hottest commodity on the roster. The UFC light heavyweight champ now meets Magomed Ankalaev in the PPV headliner spot at UFC 313 this weekend. Pereira and his challenger are sure to light up the T-Mobile grounds. As such, their UFC 313 payouts and fight purses/compensations could also be just as deserving and eye-catching.
Capping off “Poatan” is a pay-per-view feature co-mains between Justin Gaethje vs. Rafael Fiziev. When it comes to UFC fighters’ pay and experience-based pay, the 155-pound division is stacked to the brim with fighters worth their weight in dough. Fiziev is out to avenge a March 2023 majority decision loss to the human “Highlight”. Their scrapper could bank them heavy payouts this Saturday.
UFC and athletic commissions do not release fighter payouts. However, with the talent atop the third pay-per-view yearly event, fighter salaries could go through the roof. Here is a look into their previous fight purses to determine what they can earn with a proper performance.
Salary of Alex Pereira at UFC 313
Alex “Poatan” Pereira makes it a point to be the saving grace of big PPV cards, be it by subbing in or by his performance itself. Per BetMGM, the UFC 205-pound kingpin banked $2.7 million, including PPV shares and a $50,000 FOTN bonus. This was for Pereira’s war against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307 PPV.
Per Forbes, he pocketed an estimated $5 million salary to rematch Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303. This included a $3,300,000 base salary and 400,000 PPV buys going for $200,000! He made $1,200,000 base, $1,600,000 in PPV payouts, and another $100,000 in thematic bonuses for UFC 300.

Poatan took home $300,000 in base fight purse bracket and a $300,000 bonus for winning the strap against Israel Adesanya. This was back at UFC 281; the fighter made big bucks and entered the big base bracket in quite a little time.
He also made $32,000 to enter as a challenger back then, per the Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout tiers. The Teixeira MMA & Fitness team fighter made the same during UFC 295, gunning for the vacant strap vs. Prochazka. Now, he makes $42,000 in compliance pay.
His payday was in the $2.5 – $3 million bracket for UFC 307 and more than $2.9 million for UFC 300. Per BetUS, Alex Pereira will, yet again, be the biggest name on this card. He’d bank around $3 million – $3.5 million, with a $1m guaranteed fight purse vs. Magomed Ankalaev. The rest depends on undisclosed payouts, bonuses, PPV shares, and royalty payments of merch sold in his likeness.
Salary of Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313
Magomed Ankalaev earned a base salary of $200,000 along with a $200,000 bonus for defeating Aleksandar Rakic. He made a disclosed fight purse of $411,000; additionally, he made an $11,000 bonus per the comprehensive Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout tiers. While he has not been that big of a star or punctuate big PPV sales, all could change this weekend.

Before that, the UFC 313 title challenger swiped out Johnny Walker for a base bracket of $150,000. His total payday amounted to just north of $161,000, along with incentives and add-ons. This time around, Magomed Ankalaev is a wild card here and will take away a guaranteed six-figure earning — likely around the $750,000 bracket. He would also make $32,000 in sponsorships and perpetuality merch sales.
That would increase to well over a million or even more if he stages a massive upset. His total purse can narrowly surpass $1.8 million with the PPV sales not splitting and exceeding a target of 850,000 buys.
Salary of Justin Gaethje at UFC 313
After “Poatan”, Justin Gaethje has to be the second-biggest name on the UFC 313 card. He made a disclosed payout of $1,056,000 vs. Rafael Fiziev, the first time. This was with a $500,000 base bracket, a $500,000 win/ $50,000 performance bonus. Gaethje also took home $6,000 in Venum (Sponsorship) outfitting policy payouts.

Per BetGM, he made about $905,000 against Tony Ferguson and around $425,000 in a probable PPV payout split. One of his highest compensations and purses came against Khabib Nurmagomedov ($1,227,500). The Elevation Fight Team brawler made a base of $400,000 and $787,500 in PPV buys in his title loss.
Just like Alex Pereira, Justin Gaethje was a part of the historic UFC 300 PPV card last April; arguably the most important spectacle of the decade. He contested against Max Holloway in the triple titleheader, fighting for the “BMF” strap at the 155-pound mark. Although he lost, the fighter made a base of $750,000, $1,600,000 in PPV payouts, and a thematic bonus of $300,000.
His gritty war and estimated bank of around $2,661,000 made him quite the draw. This time around, at UFC 313, Gaethje could supposedly make around $2.5 and $2.8 million with a $21K outfitting sponsorship.
Salary of Rafael Fiziev at UFC 313
Per NYFights, Fiziev grazed around the $36,000 fighter pay bracket and a $36,000 win/ $50,000 performance bonus ($126,500 all in) at UFC 265. Disclosed payouts and fighter compensations for UFC Vegas 44 saw him make around $176,000 ($60,000 base/ $60,000 win bonus).

Fiziev also lacks the PPV draw power, but his opponent does not. Subsequently, a win won’t just propel him to be the No. 1 ranked top seed for Islam Makhachev. But defeating a big name like Gaethje would put him on the map, big time. “Ataman” is projected for fighter compensation of around $300,000 and $450,000 for UFC 313, along with $16K sponsorship.
Rafael Fiziev can take home around a neat $500,000 and then some, depending on how he battles Gaethje. Per FanDuel, the money line has surprisingly propped Fiziev as a -162 fave and Gaethje as a +126 underdog.
