‘Here to make America great again’ – ‘Triple C’ Henry Cejudo aims to become three division-weight champion

Henry Cejudo is arguably one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters the UFC would have ever seen. He retired as a two-division champion after beating Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. Many felt that his retirement was just temporary, but after a few months Cejudo removed his name from the USADA testing pool, putting an end to all rumors of his comeback.

However, it now looks like he is willing to make a comeback yet again. The former Olympic Gold medalist called out the champions of the flyweight, bantamweight and featherweight division and expressed his desire to become a triple-weight champion. Taking to Twitter ‘Triple C’ made his ‘Triple C’ intentions clear.

‘I’m feeling generous’ – Henry Cejudo

Mentioning Dana White, Cejudo made his desire known and stated that he wanted to make America great again. Cejudo posted an image of himself standing with three UFC belts, captioning it, “Hey @danawhite so you have a walking pez dispenser champ at 125lbs. Deiveson Figueiredo a paper champion and Oscar winner @funkmastermma and a wanna be Crocodile Hunter @alexvolkanovski. I’m feeling generous and here to help you make America great again. #C4

That was a total lack of disrespect from Cejudo, as he called Figueiredo a paper champion, Aljamain Sterling an Oscar winner, and Volkanovski a crocodile hunter.

Henry Cejudo has a lot of fight years left in him!

Cejudo is still only 34, and has a lot of fight years left in his kitty. But Cejudo is not a stranger in making such callouts. From time to time, ‘Triple C’ makes such social media gimmicks. He even called out Francis Ngannou once for a fight.

If he is being serious, he can very well return, since he has been unparalleled in the UFC, and White would welcome him with open arms. Whether his callout is just a phoney, remains to be seen.
