“I’d slap the head off him” – Conor McGregor HILARIOUS story of meeting superstar Cristiano Ronaldo
Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo
Conor McGregor no longer is star-struck when he meets top athlete superstars. And Cristiano Ronaldo is no exception. You know the Irishman has reached unreal levels of fame when meeting top celebrities from the world barely fazes him anymore.
Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the most-followed athletes all around the world. Though Ronaldo has been at the top for a long time, it has taken McGregor very little time to reach the levels of the football star. The two portrayed their friendship in the public eye back in 2016.
Ahead of McGregor’s bout against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, Ronaldo made a visit to the Notorious One’s Las Vegas training camp. The two met each other in the octagon and shared an amazing moment that put all fans around the world in a frenzy. McGregor hilariously joked about his meeting with the former Real Madrid player.
“He’s a nice guy, he’s in some shape. He went more abs, I went more lats,” said McGregor on their iconic shirtless post. “I’d slap the head off him but he’s a very nice guy and he was in tremendous shape, he’s a true athlete,” said McGregor talking about his friendship with Ronaldo. Not often do you get to hear someone casually joke about slapping the biggest sportsperson on the planet?
