“Can see the light at the end,” Dana White emotionally remembers his journey and talks about his retirement

Dana White is undoubtedly the face of the UFC. It is tough to fathom UFC without him because of how long he has been a part of the promotion. Dana White deserves all the praise for everything he has accomplished for the UFC and combat sports in general.
But time catches on everyone and someday he has to split his ways from UFC. Recently Dana White appeared in an interview with ESPN and discussed his retirement. Dana believes he has still got the will to continue but eventually he believes he has to step away.
Talking on the show he said, “I am nowhere near retiring but let’s be honest I can see the light at the end of the tunnel … I was 30 I will be 54 this summer …we get on this hamster wheel …every Saturday, every Saturday, every Saturday….and it’s December and another year.”
The UFC president has unquestionably created a career out of what he enjoys. He has managed to make a fortune out of the sports having a net worth of around $500 million. White has contributed to the UFC’s expansion into one of the biggest MMA organizations in the world, and it doesn’t appear that this trend will alter any time soon.

When Dana White explained why he can’t stop with his job
Dana White was named president of the MMA company in January 2001, following Zuffa’s $2 million acquisition of the UFC. The company was sold by the Zuffa brothers for $4.025 billion in July 2016. At the time of the deal, White reportedly owned 9% of the UFC. He is reportedly still a shareholder in the corporation and is, of course, still the president of the UFC.
white‘s love for sports is the reason why he is so long in the business. He once appeared on the Jake Asman show and discussed his job. When asked by the host what would be doing if he was not the President of UFC, Dana replied, “I love what I do. This is what I love to do. So, I couldn’t imagine not doing it.”

Since he’s been at it for such a long time, White is incredibly skilled at what he does. White makes an effort to give the supporters what they want since he is aware of it. Even though the battles don’t seem good on paper, he manages to hype them up.
