World Wrestling Entertainment, also known as WWE, is a global professional wrestling promotion that has enjoyed unparalleled success over the last few decades. It is considered to be the pinnacle of entertainment and has consistently remained at the top of its game. Athletes from all over the world come to WWE to participate in its program and strive to become a part of the prestigious WWE roster. Since its inception, WWE has expanded its network to over 180 countries and has a massive following of dedicated fans.
Similarly, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has emerged as one of the fastest-growing combat sports organizations since 2005. As the biggest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion in the world, it has a global viewership that spans various countries. The promotion attracts talented fighters from all parts of the world who come to showcase their skills and earn money and fame.
WWE has been responsible for producing some of the biggest superstars in the wrestling industry, including The Rock, Undertaker, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Roman Reigns, among others. On the other hand, UFC has created its own superstars who are some of the most dangerous fighters in the history of combat sports. Some of the most well-known MMA fighters include Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre (GSP), Anderson Silva, Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The two companies have always maintained a good relationship with each other, and they recently announced a multi-billion dollar merger agreement. Now that both brands have been merged under the same parent company, it is interesting to compare their brand values.

WWE was founded in 1952 by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt, and later Vince McMahon took over the company. Over the years, WWE has grown into a massive company with over 200 wrestlers and approximately 500 live events hosted annually. As of now, WWE’s market value is estimated to be around $6.87 billion. The company has consistently stayed ahead of its time and made various changes since its inception in order to survive and thrive.
UFC’s success can be attributed to the hard work of its president Dana White and the Fertitta brothers, who purchased the dying promotion for $2 million in 2001. Today, UFC is the premier MMA promotion that hosts events almost every week and a pay-per-view event once a month. The company has hosted its PPV events in various countries such as Australia, the UK, Canada, and Brazil.
In 2016, the Fertitta brothers sold UFC to WME-IMG for a whopping $4 billion, and White remained the president. Currently, the company is estimated to be valued at $9-10 billion.
