Dan Ige has risen the ranks with a very badass left hook walk-off knockout against Damon Jackson today at UFC Vegas 67. Ige was completely dominant in his fight against Jackson, walking him down the entire time and finally knocking him out.
Dan Ige was completely dominant from round 1 of the fight not letting Damon Jackson even breathe, walking him down the entire fight. Ige was continuously on Jackson’s case the entire time. When Jackson was finally on the front foot, he got caught by Dan Ige’s left hook which left him slumped on the canvas.
Dan Ige completely dominated the fight by continuously clipping him time and time again, not letting Damon Jackson rest for even a bit. He landed some hard shots against him cutting Jackson in the first round above his left eye, making it difficult for the fighter in round 2 when he finally got knocked out.
“It’s repetition,” Ige said. “I have great coaches … I have an incredible team around me. With these guys, I rep it daily. I have ‘$50K,’ written on my hand wraps. You guys don’t see it, but I knew I was going to land it one day or another.” Let’s hope this fight puts him back on track for a potential championship fight in the future.

The top-ranked featherweight won spectacularly against Damon Jackson via knockout not giving any chance to the judges for division when he lost his last fight against Movsar Evaloev. He hasn’t given any room for doubt with his totally dominant performance.
All the losses he went through over the last 2 years made extreme pressure on him and he took the losses hard and converted himself into the real featherweight fighter who defeated Damon Jackson at UFC Vegas 67. He spoke about how these losses affected his mental health and him to lose faith in himself. This win over Damon Jackson helped him regain his confidence in himself.
Ige will hope he continues winning fights and eventually gets a title shot against Volkovski. The way he presented himself today at the fight by continuously hunting him down and letting his cannons go at every chance he got, fans would love to see him again in the octagon soon.
