Cena

John Cena was last seen on WWE TV at Summerslam 2021. The 16-time WWE World Champion suffered a loss against Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Since then, Cena has not been seen on WWE TV. Prior to his match at the “Biggest Party of the Summer”, Cena made several appearances throughout the August – advertised as Summer of Cena.

But the Leader of Cenation recently returned to WWE for a one-off match. It wasn’t a televised appearance but for a dark match that took place after WWE Super Smackdown went off-air. Cena teamed up with Dominik and Rey Mysterio to face The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and The Usos).

John Cena, predictably got the biggest pop of the night from the crowd. In the final moments of their match, Cena avoided a Spear from Reigns and countered with an Attitude Adjustment. He also hit an Attitude Adjustment to Jimmy Uso to win the match for his team.
