With 2022 coming to an end, it seems that Bobby Lashley isn’t ready to bid the year farewell with a happy heart. The thought of being crushed by Brock Lesnar and losing his United States title to Seth Rollins had hardly got off his mind when another shock came to him at the recent Monday Night RAW.

Austin Theory currently holds the United States title. The Monday Night RAW episode was to decide the number 1 contender amongst Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley for the title shot. Rollins wins the opportunity in a neck-to-neck match but the loss came to be quite heartbreaking for Lashley.

Lashley wasn’t ready to take on his defeat in a healthy manner and went ahead to shower dissatisfaction at the referee. Accidentally, he hit the WWE official that was standing just behind him. Things worsened when Adam Pearce came out to handle the situation. He approached the ferocious Lashley and reminded him of the warning that he had already received.

Pearce told Lashley that he would have to take action against him. But the violent Lashley was oblivious to everything that was being said. Adam had hardly calmed Bobby when he accidentally put his hand on Pearce triggering him to fire Lashley on the spot. Before Lashley could analyse what had happened, Pearce left. Lashley could be seen utterly shocked and disappointed for his behaviour.

Back in October, Brock Lesnar made a grand return after suffering defeat by the hands of Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2022. The Beast made thrashed Bobby Lashley moments before his match against Seth Rollins for the United States title. Lashley was clearly not in a state to stand in the ring but for Rollins’ persuasion, he faced him for the title.

An injured Lashley put up a great fight and tried everything he could to defend his title, but in vain. Seth Rollins emerged victorious and won the title after a long reign of non-title runs. However, he soon dropped the title to Austin Theory at Survivor Series in a triple threat match.
