44-year WWE veteran looks well on track to miss Crown Jewel premium live event in Riyadh
Recently returned Carlito is reportedly set to miss out on Saudi Arabia for WWE Crown Jewel next month.

WWE is going to Saudi Arabia with all their guns blazing. With a single Monday Night Raw taping to unfold tonight, the talents are almost ready to board the charter over to the Middle East. That said, there are a few superstars who will miss out on the opportunity. And one of those unlucky ones is Carlito. But there’s a reason why he might not travel to Riyadh.
He’s being advertised by the Blue Cross Arena for next Saturday’s live event in Rochester. It’s the same day as the WWE Crown Jewel. That means he’ll possibly be in some sort of domestic angle rather than plying his trade overseas. It might come across as a major disappointment for Carlito fans, as he made a newsworthy return to the company at Fastlane. At first, WWE dropped his original theme song, and now he’ll seemingly miss a big show.
As of now, The Caribbean Cool is lending his support to the LWO on SmackDown. This past week, he teamed up with Santos Escobar as a last-minute replacement for Rey Mysterio. However, that did not work either, as Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins picked up the win. The way it’s going for the LWO, it’s all ominous at the moment. Their leader, Rey Mysterio, is in jeopardy of losing his United States Championship to Logan Paul at Crown Jewel.
It remains to be seen how long WWE keeps Carlito tied to the LWO. Many fans are raving for a solo run for the former US Champion. He’s capable of replicating the sort of impact he had during his initial stint with WWE. Hopefully, the creative will come up with something for Carlito after Crown Jewel.
What are the betting odds for Crown Jewel?
By the time Crown Jewel gets over, it may leave some fans astonished. The card is not as predictable as it looks on paper. Starting with the Undisputed WWE Universal Title match, Roman Reigns is a clear favorite to retain his gold against the red-hot LA Knight.
In another world title match, Seth Rollins slightly edges Drew McIntyre in the betting odds to go over the Scottish Warrior. Coming to the women, Rhea Ripley is a big favorite over her opponents. For the US Title match, Logan Paul is primed to win his first title in WWE against Rey Mysterio.
Over to the non-title ones, Solo Sikoa is the favorite over John Cena and so is Cody Rhodes against Damian Priest. For now, the betting odds for Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair for the Women’s Championship are unavailable.
