SPOILER: Huge update on the present mindset of The Rock over his rumored match against Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns vs. The Rock has been teased for years now

The Rock fka Dwayne Johnson is one of the most busiest men in the world, today. We’ve put enough emphasis over this many times. However, each year when Wrestlemania approaches, everyone starts campaigning about one thing. Not that hard of a guess will land you to a generational dream battle between The Rock and Roman Reigns.

The Tribal Chief is standing on Mt. Everest at the moment, counting down on everyone that comes in his path. He’s supposedly set for his third consecutive Wrestlemania main-event and his opponent can be someone from the Anoa’i dynasty. Per the tagline, “Wrestlemania goes Hollywood“, the world is anticipating the inevitable and that’s to finally witness a clash for the ages between Roman and Rock.

Not saying that it’s a lock for Wrestlemania 39, but there’s a better possibility than ever to make this happen, next year. Few months ago, Ringside News exclusively reported that Rock is a “virtual lock” for Mania in LA. Counting on this and some recent reports, the WWE Universe can dream big.

Dave Meltzer provided an ultimate update on how things are looking at the moment for this clash. He basically squashed down the mumblings of The Great One being said a certain entity for The Grandest Spectacle of 2023. Adding further, he said that it’s all upto The Black Adam megastar on whether he wants to do the match or not. A final decision from The Brahma Bull’s camp is expected soon, as that would help WWE to exercise on their Wrestlemania plans, in advance.

“Here’s the situation. If Dwayne Johnson is on Mania, he’s wrestling Reigns. That is not off the boards at all, nor is it a lock. So there have to be back-up plans put in place. Right now if anyone says that there is a main event locked in for Mania, they are dead wrong because nothing is for certain. Basically the idea is Dwayne Johnson has to make up his mind, and most likely a final date would best be just before the Rumble so they could start main event plans at the Rumble show.”

With the current product indicative of a fresh vibe and more focused story development, unreal things can happen in future. As far as Cody’s concerned, he’s reportedly set to renew his unfinished business with Seth Rollins. Not to forget what The Visionary did to him on WWE Raw post-Hell in a Cell. He’s rumored to return on New Year’s edition of the red brand and cost the United States Championship match to Seth Rollins.
