The first Raw of 2024 was lit up with the return of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. However, there was a lot that went down, especially with Dominik Mysterio. The latter ushered in last night’s show hoping for a better crowd reception than he’s been getting, as Raw was held in Dominik’s hometown of San Diego. However, when he and JD McDonagh interrupted R-Truth and The Miz, the packed arena didn’t respond any differently.

Whenever Dom got on the mic, the boos were deafening, to say the least. Citing that as a subject of utter disrespect for Dirty Dom, his fellow Judgment Day member JD McDonagh vented his frustration on social media. The Irish Ace called the fans who were in the building last night scummy. Like a typical bad guy honing his allegiance for The Judgment Day, McDonagh’s reaction seemed justifiable.

In the promo they had on Raw, JD McDonagh continuously barked at R-Truth. That stems from the fact that Truth actually beat JD two weeks ago on Raw in a Miracle on the 34th Street Fight. Moreover, according to the agreed-upon stipulation, McDonagh should’ve been expelled from The Judgment Day. However, he begged for a chance, and Damian Priest agreed.

After minutes of quarreling, Dom and McDonagh agreed to take on the duo of R-Truth and The Miz. Despite being on the A-Lister’s side, Truth was divided throughout and thought of joining forces with his Judgment Day buddies. In the end, it did not bode well for Mysterio and McDonagh, as the latter was pinned following a Skull Crushing Finale.

What’s Dominik Mysterio’s WWE goal in 2024?

Undoubtedly, Dominik Mysterio has had one hell of a 2023. From getting his butt spanked by Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 39 to being CM Punk’s first WWE match in a decade, the 26-year-old was there for the ride.

However, with last year in the rearview mirror, Dom has his sights set on the new year. In a recent clip posted on WWE’s official X handle, numerous superstars including CM Punk and Seth Rollins revealed their New Year resolutions.

Dominik too had one. After having a breakout year in WWE, Mysterio is now seeking more gold. He wishes to win more titles in 2024. The Modern Day Latino Heat is a former one-time NXT North American Champion and would love to add to his resume.
