Cody Rhodes is now heading to WrestleMania in Los Angeles. After months of inactivity, he returned at the Royal Rumble and won the whole thing. However, a current AEW name paid a visit to The Alamodome as well, to cheer up the American Nightmare.

Friends are like the biggest blessing one can have in life. Well, Cody Rhodes can count himself lucky to have many of them. This Saturday night at the Royal Rumble, The American Nightmare inched closer to achieve his dream. He outclassed 29 other men to punch his ticket into the main-event of WrestleMania 39.

With the mammoth feat, he’s now entitled to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Title at Showcase of the Immortals. So being said, it’s quite likely that Cody was receiving a positive energy from his closed ones. And that’s pretty much true as current AEW Superstar Ricky Starks booked a flight to San Antonio for the Rumble. It’s not like WWE has started allowing superstars from their so-called rivals to come in and watch how things work.

Instead, the real reason behind that will melt your heart. In a leaked image on Twitter, Ricky is seen arriving the venue alongside Cody Rhodes and WWE official Jon Cone. Now, for the versed, Ricky Starks deeply considers Cody Rhodes as his mentor-cum-friend. Plus, Rhodes was his debut match in AEW, which will always remain close to his heart.

As soon as the image started circulating on social media, obvious chatter was there. There has been a genuinely positive reception for the most part. While it’s likely that Starks might’ve has some impressions of Hunter, in case he needs some in future. Also, before signing with All Elite Wrestling, Ricky Starks worked in WWE, mostly as an enhancement talent.

What will Cody Rhodes have to say on tonight’s WWE Raw?

In about 12 hours from now, WWE will telecast it’s first Monday Night Raw episode post Royal Rumble. A lot of things are bound to unfold in Tulsa, tonight. The focal points will revolve around Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley, the respective Royal Rumble match winners and their paths to WrestleMania.

As for Cody, there has been a certain pitch which may surprise many. After coming back last year, Dusty’s son made it crystal clear what he wants, and that’s – the WWE Championship. The only prestige which has eluded The Rhodes Family throughout. To attain what’s never been done before in their dynasty, Cody Rhodes is hellbent to win the WWE Title.

Not only that, he’s interested in bringing back the Winged-Eagle World Championship. As noted from his Instagram story, The American Nightmare is adamant on restoring the Attitude Era glory. For the unversed, the iconic Winged-Eagle title is widely considered as the greatest designed championship this industry has ever seen.
