Roman Reigns has been an unstoppable force in WWE from the past 2 years. Superstars from various generations gave their all, however, not a single one of them was able to overcome The Tribal Chief. That being said, he’s almost certain to enter this year’s WrestleMania as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, unless anything changes.

With the likes of Cody Rhodes and The Rock as two of the most obvious choices for Reigns, there might be a little twist in the tale. In case The Great One sadly misses out the last opportunity to battle his cousin at The Showcase of the Immortals, WWE has to look past him. Plus, for some reason, if the company snubs Cody Rhodes from being this year’s Royal Rumble winner, there has to be an alternative.

Well, it’s not that hard of a puzzle. According to Wrestling Observer, WWE may have Seth Rollins or Drew McIntyre as the backup options for Roman Reigns. Going by the history, Reigns’ former Shield stablemate will be the most marketable bet. Adding to the context, these men have some major unfinished business from their previous meeting. At the Royal Rumble last year, Reigns lost to Rollins via disqualification, his only counted singles loss since Payback 2020.

At the moment, many fans believe that Sami Zayn should face Roman Reigns at the Grandest Spectacle. Considering the growing stature of The Honorary Uce each passing day in The Bloodline, it’s just as fitting as it can get. Also, Zayn is arguably the most over superstar out there. Whenever he’s in the house, all hell breaks lose.

This entire Bloodline saga has created an inaccessible megastar out of Sami Zayn. He might actually be an appropriate choice to dethrone The Head of The Table for the titles. On this week’s Raw, a Tribal Court was called to determine Sami Zayn’s future with The Bloodline.

As of now, The Honoray Uce is adjudged non-guilty. However, it’s not clear when that verdict can change. This Saturday at the Royal Rumble, Kevin Owens will challenge Roman Reigns for that Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. For obvious reasons, the world will get to see what place Sami Zayn holds in Roman Reigns’ family following this high-stakes bout.
