The Rock has gained much of the audience’s love and respect in the past years. There has been a massive fan following of the celebrity in the latest era. He has been able to maintain his skills and thus his popularity in his professional life with his peers and fans.
With the Rock’s WrestleMania appearance gaining heat, many WWE Superstars have expressed their desire to meet him and one of these superstars is Bobby Lashley. Lashley has a good enough career in WWE and is well-known among the masses. Now it seems that he is eying on the Rock.
Bobby Lashley was in an interview where he revealed his plans for facing two mega stars of the wrestling industry. The match between him and Dwayne Johnson would be enough to catch everyone’s eyes. When questioned about who he would like to pair up with at WrestleMania 39, Bobby said, “The Rock is always a huge, iconic figure.”
The superstar took his official retirement from in-ring competition back in 2019. After 2019, the Rock has been making sporadic appearances at multiple mega events of the company to hype up the crowd. The love he gets from his fans is still the same.
His co-stars and fellow wrestlers have also expressed their desire to face him in real life. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is rumoured to make a WWE in-ring appearance at WrestleMania 39 which will take place on the 1st and 2nd of April, 2023.

The Rock isn’t Bobby Lashley’s only option for an opponent
Bobby Lashley wasn’t very particular about his opponent. He was open to facing another great performer in the WWE industry – Brock Lesnar. “Brock is always a big one but you know this scene is always there,” he said. He added that he wanted big matches in the ring since they are loved by the audience as well as wrestling enthusiasts.
A returning Brock Lesnar attacked the then United States Champion Bobby Lashley in a recent Monday Night RAW episode almost injuring himself to make a move. However, he was to face Seth Rollins on the same night for a title match. After Seth’s constant call for a match, Lashley turned up in the ring and eventually lost the title.
If the feud between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar continues for a few more months it won’t be shocking to see Lashley face his desired opponent at the Premium Live Event. There is less possibility of him going against the Rock as he will most probably face Roman Reigns in the ring.
