This year’s Elimination Chamber PLE is less than a couple of weeks away. And with a matter of days left, WWE is looking to bolster the card as soon as they can. The show is set to be themed around traditional Elimination Chamber bouts. However, a match that was planned at least a week ago now seems to be off the table.

According to Dave Meltzer of WON, WWE pulled the strings on the rumored US title rematch between Logan Paul and Kevin Owens. If one remembers, the promotion even advertised that Nick Aldis would assign a challenger for The Maverick’s gold on last week’s SmackDown. However, that segment never happened. Instead, in a backstage altercation, the SmackDown GM revealed that he has put Paul in a qualifier against The Miz for the men’s chamber.

That shows how rapidly things can change in WWE. Ever since CM Punk’s injury took him off WrestleMania and Brock Lesnar’s allegations made it to the public light, the Triple H-led creative has had to pivot. Initially, Logan Paul looked set to either battle Kevin Owens in a rematch for the title. Or it could’ve been the boxer-turned-wrestler defending inside the sadistic structure.

The Logan Paul thing, because if you remember just last week, which shows you how much things are changing quickly weekly and daily, Logan Paul and Kevin Owens were originally going to do US title match in Perth.

Well, both guys can still dupe it out. That would only be possible if they win their respective qualifying matches this Friday. Logan looks to get the better of a familiar foe in The Miz. Whereas, Owens could make it a walk in the park against Dominik Mysterio. Four of the six spots are already occupied in the men’s Elimination Chamber match. The remaining pod owners will be determined on a star-studded SmackDown in Salt Lake City this week.

Will Rhea Ripley have her main event at Elimination Chamber?

There’s only one thing standing in Rhea Ripley‘s dream of headlining a PLE in her home country. And that’s the men’s Elimination Chamber match. The stakes are at an all-time high. The winner goes to Philadelphia and gets a crack at Seth Rollins‘ World Heavyweight title.

However, WWE may let The Eradicator put on a show in Perth against Nia Jax. The two women have been beefing for quite some time now. Last night on Raw, an incensed Ripley came out with vengeance in mind.

She went straight to Jax, who was trash-talking with Becky Lynch. Mami had the last laugh as she caught Nia with a boot on her face. Needless to say, the people in charge have done a fairly good job at building the tension between Jax and Ripley.
