WWE Smackdown preview (Go-home episode of WWE Hell in a Cell 2021) – 18th June, 2021
Mysterio challenged Roman Reigns last week
WWE Smackdown preview: The upcoming episode of WWE Smackdown will be the go-home episode for WWE Hell in a Cell. A couple of more matches could be announced during the episode, and we might even get an idea about the results for PPV.
Here is our WWE Smackdown preview for the final Blue-brand episode before Hell in a Cell:
Will Rey Mysterio acknowledge Roman Reigns?
In the final segment of last week’s Smackdown, Rey Mysterio challenged Roman Reigns to a match inside the Hell in a Cell and he even attacked the Tribal Chief. Later during Talking Smack, Paul Heyman accepted the challenge on behalf of Reigns.
Reigns made a tweet stating that next week Mysterio will acknowledge him. This is an interesting statement and has made the fans curious, as to what Reigns has planned to do.
Kevin Owens and Big E face Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez
Last week Kevin Owens and Big E had defeated Apollo Crews and Sami Zayn in a tag team match. Zayn was pinned for the win and Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews outrightly blamed him for the loss.
Hurt by the loss, Crews challenged Big E and Owens to a rematch, but with a new partner. His soldier Commander Azeez will be making his in-ring debut. The giant has so far shown his dominance outside the ring, but we might get a glimpse of his abilities on the upcoming episode of WWE Smackdown.
Liv Morgan and Carmella face-off
Since the last two weeks, Liv Morgan is finally getting some time on-air. She has kicked off a feud with Carmella. The duo have one win each and we could see another encounter between the two on the upcoming Smackdown episode.
Final match between King Corbin and Shinsuke Nakamura for the crown
King Corbin has been trying to get back his crown, which Nakamura had stolen weeks ago. Rick Boogs has helped Nakamura in always escaping with the crown. Nakamura and Corbin have two wins each now.
Last week, Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville suggested that they can have one final match, with the crown on the line. This match, for the crown, is likely to take place on Smackdown.
