He is very competitive and has often boldly admitted the same; his teammates also agree that the Bulls guard is utterly ruthless on the court and even off the court. He never allows his opponents to have any chance of winning, and if they somehow have it, Michael makes sure that they don’t have this celebration for too long.

One of the records he had that shook the world was his completion of 30,000 points of his career during his first season with the Washington Wizards.

It was today, January 4th, 2001 when Bulls star, Michael Jordan completed his milestone of 30,000 point mark with the Washington Wizards. He was in his 30’s and he still managed to have averaged 22.9 points per game during that season. He played for the Wizards for another two years where finally he ended his career with 32,282 points which was among some of the best scorers in the league.

The time Michael Jordan completed this great achievement he became the second-fastest basketball player to do so being one step behind Wilt Chamberlain who completed this record in just 941 games. Michael Jordan is not alone in this list for cracking 30,000 points in a career. He shares this space with Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Dirk Nowitzki and Wilt Chamberlain.

Though this achievement might not seem a big deal now, saying how much the game of basketball has changed but doing so after being 3 years away from the NBA is certainly a great achievement for Michael Jordan and his fans. 30,000 mark is an impressive spot to be because there are players that still can’t reach that level even being one of the best in the league.
