The hosts of the Game Awards revealed the nominees for the 32 different categories a while back! Furthermore, the Game Awards 2023 was a successful event, with nominations for many great video games in several categories. Additionally, there were candidates for eSports and content creators along with games. However, that wasn’t all. Many big reveals, announcements, and trailers were launched at the Game Awards 2023, too!
The Game Awards successfully concluded its 10th Edition on 7th December! Moreover, Baldur’s Gate claimed the award for Game of the Year. Significant gaming events like these are free-to-eat buffets for fans and gamers. Furthermore, almost every studio uses events like these to announce or launch the trailers of the games they are either working on or are planning to launch! This event was notably a great way for studios and creators to showcase their work!
From Hideo Kojima & Xbox‘s upcoming work, the much-awaited Black Myth: Wukong’s trailer to Embark’s The Finals, a free-to-play first-person shooter game, there were many exciting reveals and announcements in the Game Awards 2023. From giving great video games the awards they deserve to providing creators with a platform to publicize their work, this Game Awards 2023 edition was a great and successful event!

The 10th edition of the Game Awards was a spectacle to watch. The event was streamed on their official YouTube channel. Many popular games, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Baldur’s Gate 3, and others, received nominations across 32 different categories. Furthermore, apart from the awards, there were many new reveals. Most of these reveals were big announcements, along with trailer launches for some really great upcoming games!

Monster Hunter Wilds
Monster Hunter: Wilds will be the newest addition to the long-running franchise and will be part of the 6th Generation. It will be released on PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S & PC in 2025. Since Monster Hunter World launched Generation 5 in 2018, this is the first new generation of Monster Hunter. With the sales of over 10 million copies of Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise combined, the Monster Hunter franchise has enjoyed tremendous global success in the past generation.
Free God of War Ragnarok DLC
After a year, God of War Ragnarok will finally get a new free DLC titled “Valhalla.” Moreover, this DLC will be released on 12 December 2023.
Hideo Kojima Officially Reveals Xbox Project, Titled “OD”
The much anticipated Hideo Kojima Xbox project has been revealed, and Kojima himself spoke about it on stage at The Game Awards 2023. It was also disclosed that Jordan Peele was involved with the project. The game, which stars Udo Kier, Hunter Schafer, and Sophia Lillis, is billed as much more than just a game.
Marvel’s Blade
A new Marvel game is coming soon. It’s Marvel’s Balde. Fans would now be able to play as “The Blade,” one of Marvel’s coldest and most brutal superheroes. Moreover, Bethesda is working on this game in collaboration with Arkan Studios! Development has started & it’s going to be a “mature, single-player, third-person game set in the heart of Paris.”
Embark’s The Finals (a new free First-Person Shooter game)
A new free-to-play FPS game came out right after the reveal on The Game Awards 2023, called “The Finals.” It’s available on PC now through Steam.
Light No Fire: From the developers of No Man’s Sky
The developers of No Man’s Sky showed off their next game, Light No Fire, during the Game Awards 2023. It’s going to be an open-world online multiplayer game!
Final Fantasy 16 two new DLC
Released this year, Final Fantasy 16 really captivated an entire fan base. Furthermore, the game is finally getting two DLCs, so the fun doesn’t stop. Square Enix has already released the first DLC, Echoes of the Fallen. Additionally, The Rising Tide will release in spring 2024!
Skull and Bones Release Date
The most ambitious pirate game, Skull and Bones, finally has a release date after the Game Awards 2023 reveal! It will be released on February 16, 2024.
Fortnite Rocket Racing New Trailer
Fortnite has finally launched the new Rocket Racing mode in the game right after the Game Awards 2023 reveal and fans are enjoying this new mode quite a lot!
Dead By Daylight spinoff
The Casting of Frank Stone, a brand-new narrative-based game in the Dead by Daylight universe, has been unveiled by Behavior Interactive and Supermassive Games.
Jurassic Park: Survival
Fans were shown a new first-person Jurassic Park game from Saber Interactive. It’s a rebirth of an action game that was canceled in the early 2000s. At this point, it’s unclear if this is a legitimate rebirth of the canceled game or whether it will take the Jurassic Park franchise on another path.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake
Remakes of Josef Fares’s first major game are now in the works. Fares is the creative lead for cooperative games such as It Takes Two and A Way Out. On February 28, 2024, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake will launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Black Myth: WuKong release date revealed
The long-awaited open-world Chinese mythology game has finally got a release date! It’s Black Myth: Wukong. The game is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC on August 20, 2024.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League new trailer
After a while, fans are getting a lengthy trailer of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game is coming out next February.
Asgard’s Wrath 2 coming to Meta Quest
One of the best games, Asgard’s Wrath, is getting a sequel! VR game Asgard’s Wrath 2 will be coming to Meta Quest on December 15.
