Every Formula 1 season brings with it a wide host of thrilling races, exciting paddock action, and some great Championship fights. But among all the Grands Prix, the fans always pick their most favorite one–and it is almost always the most hair-raising race that the season has got. As we are already thirteen races into this year’s F1 Championship, and the there are nine races remaining in the roster, the F1 admins decided to conduct a poll to ask people about their favorite race of this season.

While Max Verstappen has bagged the maximum number of wins in this year and is currently leading the Championship with a gap of 80 points between him and his closest rival, Charles Leclerc, the most favorite race that was voted by the audience was not one where Verstappen was the Champion. In fact, most of the F1 followers decided upon the British GP to be the best race of this season so far, owing to the massive twists and turns that they got to watch during the race.

Following closely behind Silverstone GP, were the Hungarian Grand Prix in the second place, and the Bahrain and Austrian Grands Prix sharing the third spot. With that being said, the fans are eagerly waiting for the F1 season to resume with the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps right around the corner.

As per the results of the public poll that the F1 official site put up to let the fans judge which Grand Prix was the best of the season, it is clear that the historic Silverstone Grand Prix won by a vast majority with 50% of the votes going in its favor. The British GP, which takes place on the home countru of Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Alex Albon, and Lando Norris, found Carlos Sainz as it’s Champion. The Spaniard captured his first-ever Grand Prix victory at his 150th race start. And he shared the podium with Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton.

The Silverstone GP was full of thrilling elements that the fans always want to see–but the most shocking moment was when Alfa Romeo debutant Zhou Guanyu had a terrifying crash at the very start. Following the British GP, it was the race at Hungaroring that took the crown for the second spot. This is the most recent of the four races that the audience have put on the podium with their voting.

The Hungarian GP saw Mercedes put up a brilliant performance as they got their first double podium win of this season. In the third place, there were the season opener in Bahrain and the Austrian GP.
