Weeks after the 2022 Formula 1 season got over, it is now that time when the fans wait with bated breath as the teams announce the dates for the launch of their cars for the upcoming 2023 Championship campaign. And the first team to have a go at it was Aston Martin. Now, F1’s oldest and the most successful one– Scuderia Ferrari has come out with their dates. The Maranello outfit has planned that they will raise the curtains to present their new car for the 2023 Formula 1 season on Valentine’s Day, that is, February 14. The report on this has come from the Italian website Formua1a.uno.
When the 2022 Championship got over with an emotional grand finale at Abu Dhabi, it was followed by a post-season testing session where the teams got their drivers to do some laps and check the readiness of their cars for the next season. It was that session where newly recruited Oscar Piastri got his hands on a McLaren car for the first time, and Nyck de Vries was also quite happy with his practice debut with the AlphaTauri setup. But now, the teams will reveal their actual 2023 machines one by one, and the fans are all here for it.
Now, the 2023 season is all set to begin from March, and the teams will take to the racing tracks in Bahrain with their new cars at the end of February for a week-long winter test, which will be followed by next year’s first Grand Prix at the same spot. Last year, Ferrari had an upsetting end to their Championship campaign because of some flawed strategy calls, but this time they are expected to comes out guns blazing. Thus, the fans are quite excited to see the car that Ferrari has to reveal.

Official confirmation is still awaited from Ferrari’s end regarding the curtain-raiser of their 2023 car
It was the British team Aston Martin that announced their 2023 car launch date a few days ago, becoming the first team of this year to do so. They will be letting the audience take a peak at their 2023 machine on February 13. The very next day, Ferrari is scheduled to have their car launch. But this is not official news as the Italian news outlet Formu1a.uno revealed it. They have also said that Ferrari’s curtain-raiser will be followed by a test with the car at the Imola circuit.
The 2022 season was abysmal for Ferrari as they lost their early Championship lead to Red Bull and could not catch up with the Austrian team till the very last race of the season. In fact, they had even had Mercedes breathing down their neck, threatening to snatch the second spot in the Championship but finally, they could keep the German team behind. In the upcoming season, their main focus will be to get back to their winning ways under the new leadership of Frederic Vasseur.
