Nyck De Vries was announced as AlphaTauri’s newest recruit a few weeks ago. fast forward to present day, the Dutchman has finally revealed that he will have his own clothing line. It’s very common for drivers who have a great fan following to get into merchandising. There are a lot of prominent figures in Formula 1 who have their own clothing line with the AlphaTauri driver being the latest one to do so.

Fellow Dutchman Max Verstappen also has his own clothing line along with other merchandise that he sells on his website. On the other hand, Lewis Hamilton also has limited, edition merchandise with +44 world, which is owned by him. Another prominent figure to have his own merchandise is Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian driver has a really successful business out of it as all of his merge get sold out within minutes of it being unveiled.

AlphaTauri is owned Redbull and is a fashion label that focuses on premium clothing. It came as a bit of a surprise to see Nyck De Vries announcing his own clothing line after joining a team whose main job is to make premium clothing. The Dutchman stated that the main reason behind this new initiative wasn’t too and profits. He stated that it was a way to get even closer to his fanbase in Formula 1.

In an interview with Formula1.nl, here is what the AlphaTauri driver had to say. “I hardly get informed, get a little update now and then. She that does all that, and she does that wonderfully. Guillaume has already dropped words of praise about Seychelle several times, because she is doing a fantastic job. It’s actually rather her little startup, I get involved very little,” De Vries stated.

The support for Dutchman in Formula 1 is massive with Max Verstappen and Nyck De Vries now competing in the sport together. You could say that They are kind of teammates as both the Dutch nationals are Red Bull drivers. It will be interesting to see how De Vries performance at AlphaTauri in this debut season in the pinnacle of Motorsport. Being paired against Yuki Tsunoda, fans believe that the Dutchman has what it takes to win the teammate battle.
