Giannis Antetokounmpo youngest Finals MVP: Milwaukee Bucks’ talisman wins 2021 Finals MVP after disrupting phoenix Suns’ run
Giannis Antetokounmpo finals MVP
Giannis Antetokounmpo is once again hitting the headlines in the news. The Greek freak has made it worth for the Milwaukee Bucks giving them the win after half a century. The Milwaukee Bucks are crowned as the 2021 NBA champion. Their hard earned sweat has finally come true after 50 years of struggle. Giannis Antetokounmpo, the 26-year-old forward became the youngest player to win Finals MVP since Kawhi Leonard did so at the age of 22 in 2014. The six game series came to an end as the Bucks clamped down the Phoenix Suns and Chris Paul’s dream of maiden championship.
Giannis Antetokounmpo hyperextended his left knee in the Eastern Conference finals against the Atlanta Hawks and missed the last two games of that series. He was initially listed as doubtful for Game 1 of the Finals, but fought his way back onto the court to play in all six games. He wasn’t great in Game 1, scoring only 20 points in a loss, but he erased any doubt about his health with back-to-back 40-point performances in Games 2 and 3. He later went on to score huge in the later games. In his first Finals appearance, Antetokounmpo dominated by averaging 35.2 points, 13.2 rebounds and five assists per game.

The Greek freak was awarded the MVP during the post-game felicitations. Giannis Antetokounmpo was charged up during his award ceremony. “I want to thank Milwaukee for believing in me,” Antetokounmpo said during the postgame ceremony on the Fiserv Forum floor. “I want to thank my teammates, man. They played hard every fricking game. I trusted this team. I wanted to do it here in this city. I wanted to do it with these guys. I’m happy. I’m happy we were able to get it done.” Milwaukee Bucks’ trophy was worth every penny of hardwork.
Antetokounmpo’s series has been well versed with the best of his game. Coming from Game 4 with a crucial block on De’Andre Ayton to a monstrous dunk on Jrue Holiday’s steal. Giannis has made it worth for the Bucks. He earned back-to-back MVP honors in 2019 and 2020 while leading the Bucks to the league’s best regular-season record each of those years, but they kept falling short in the playoffs.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s big time performance turned heads. One of the most hyped of them was Kobe Bryant’s prediction of Giannis’ championship. Now he has done it and appreciated the former NBA star Kobe Bryant for the same. This Finals’ MVP trophy is one of many for the future Hall of Famer as predicted by analysts.
