College football could not have asked for a more exciting game when Alabama and Georgia suited up this weekend. Prior to the game, it was the Miami Hurricanes clash with Virginia Tech game that had fans on the edge of their seat.
But 17-year-old wideout Ryan Williams and QB Jalen Milroe had other plans. The clash of the titans ended up being a nail-biter and thrust the WR to new heights.
That elevation in his fame came about after he showed off some incredible athleticism on his way to torching the vaunted Georgia Bulldogs defense. It seemed as if their secondary was not ready for his movements both on the grass as well as in the air.
That unreal show ended up benefitting the teenager in every possible way. As per On3.com, a website that tracks NIL deals for college athletes, Williams has doubled his worth.

He was part of the top 75 athletes in the country. Then that one viral game against Georgia shot him up to the top 15. The latest numbers show he now has a valuation of $1.5 million as opposed to the $768K he had before the game. His vault up the charts makes him the most valuable non-QB in terms of NIL deals. That too with only two deals showing up on his roster.
With eight more games to go in the regular season, Ryan Williams could continue to enhance his valuation. Companies handing out deals want headline grabbing players as their ambassadors.
If his one electrifying game could double his value, a few more in his college football career could possibly make him one of the highest paid players even reaching the NFL.
Ryan Williams helps Alabama vs. Georgia draw record viewers
College football does draw a lot of fans to the games. Stadiums are sold out and broadcasting channels are on throughout the country. That is due to the competitive nature college games tend to portray.
With Ryan Williams producing electrifying plays in this nail biter of a game, official broadcaster ABC saw some smile inducing numbers.

As per Sports Media Watch, the game between Alabama Georgia registered 11.99 million viewers with 14.1 at its peak. It helped ABC have the most viewers in four years. A brilliant outcome considering Crimson Tide football generally never disappoints.
But it goes to show that this crop of Alabama players are drawing in viewers with their style of play. Taking risks and ending with the rewards in the most competitive team sport in all of college athletics.
