Brandon Aiyuk just launched his fiercest attack on the San Francisco 49ers to date. He called out both general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan for spreading misinformation regarding his agent.
In the latest video, Aiyuk reiterated that he doesn’t have an agent after firing Ryan Williams, a close acquaintance of Lynch, adding that Williams “really started this whole [expletive].” He further called Lynch and Williams “weirdos” and “creepy predators, claiming Williams is still trying to get in touch with his wife.
The same general manager [Lynch] that tried to run me down and come apologize for his head coach [Shanahan]. because his head coach got a temperament of a [expletive] toddler and was speaking out the side of his [expletive] mouth to me.

In an earlier video, Aiyuk claimed that he doesn’t have an agent. The NFLPA site refuted his claims.
Aiyuk has only one goal in mind: forcing the 49ers to either cut or trade him to the Washington Commanders. To accomplish his objective, the All-Pro wideout is using every method possible. He has uploaded several videos on Instagram, throwing his support behind the Commanders.
NFL analyst gives his honest take on Brandon Aiyuk
The 28-year-old signed a four-year, $30 million-per-year extension in 2024. He has been MIA ever since suffering an ACL injury. Instead of reporting for duty, he avoids the 49ers. Before the injury, he had only played seven games.

Aiyuk even faced legal trouble, something he has yet to sort out properly. Resuming his career is the only way to settle everything, but he’s created a distance with his current team, which widens after every video.
[Brandon Aiyuk is] lighting money on fire, is what he’s doing, every time he puts an Instagram video out. He is on the left squad list for the 49ers still. To get off that list, he has to apply to Commissioner Roger Goodell, [and] he has to file paperwork. I’m told that hasn’t happened.

Fowler further added that the Niners haven’t given any signs of releasing him right now.
[NFL] teams I’ve talked to say that he’s essentially untradeable right now. And I’ve talked to some people around the league who think that when he does get cut, if he gets cut, that he might have to sign a vet minimum deal somewhere because of how all this has gone.

The 49ers drafted Aiyuk 25th overall in 2020. Following a breakout campaign in 2022, recording 1015 yards and 8 touchdowns on 78 receptions, Aiyuk exceeded expectations by racking up 1342 yards on 75 receptions and seven scores the following year, earning the long contract.
Unless he plays for the Niners in the future, he will end his 49ers tenure on 294 catches, 4305 yards, and 25 touchdowns.
Aiyuk wants to play for the Commanders to link up with his former Arizona State quarterback, Jayden Daniels. They played together during Aiyuk’s final year in college.
Daniels was drafted second overall by the Commanders in 2023. With 12 wins and an appearance in the NFC title game, the league picked Daniels as the best offensive rookie that year. However, he experienced a steep decline in year two, winning just two games from seven before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. His rehab is coming along well and could start in week one.
