Former OpTic Gaming Pro “El Diablo” Yay joins Pacific League’s team Bleed Esports for VCT 2024 season

The currently stagnant VCT season is undergoing a significant change. Numerous well-known Orgs are in the process of strengthening their rosters by adding seasoned players. Throughout the whole off-season, teams have been often modifying their rosters. Sentinels, one of Americas region’s famous Org is also actively making roster changes. However, this time, totally unexpected news has caught fans off-guard. Furthermore, former OpTic Gaming and Cloud9 Pro, “El Diablo” Yay, have joined Pacific League’s team, Bleed Esports, for their VCT 2024 run!
Fans will always recall the Valorant Champions 2023 championship game as one that left a lasting effect! The highlight of the VCT 2023 season was the underdog teams, which won match after match. Some high-value teams, nevertheless, were unable to live up to everyone’s expectations! Some clubs had such bad performances that they were either unable to go through the first round or unable to qualify for the higher levels.
Nevertheless, to right their wrongs, every organization is undergoing a do-over. Recently, Global Esports, one of the prominent Pacific League teams, brought over PaperRex’s former IGL, Benkai, as their team’s new IGL. Furthermore, there has been another addition to the Pacific League, with “El Diablo” Yay joining Bleed Esports.

“El Diablo” Yay joins Pacific League’s team, Bleed Esports for VCT 2024
Since the inception of the VCT, many great players have emerged and made a name for themselves. However, among them, some left such a deep mark with their exceptional plays fans could never forget about them. Moreover, Jaccob “Yay” Whiteaker, also dubbed the “El Diablo” for his great gameplay, is one remarkable player. Being a former OpTic Gaming player, the team to almost won the VCT 2022 against LOUD; Yay has a lot of experience under his belt.
Moreover, this American player joined the Americas Region Org, Cloud9, after OpTic failed to receive a franchise spot from Riot Games. Although Cloud9’s performance wasn’t great at all during the VCT 2023, Yay played exceptionally. Furthermore, now the player is switching regions over to Pacific Leagues.
With a YouTube announcement, one of the teams to get past the Pacific Leagues Ascensions, Bleed Esports, has revealed Yay as their new roster member. The El Diablo will now be playing in the Pacific Leagues in his VCT 2024 run. Fans this time have really big expectations from such an exceptional player, not that he has a really strong budding roster. Moreover, Yay has expressed his thoughts on joining a Pacific League team, too:
“Watching the APAC and China games, their unique Valorant style intrigued me. I wanted to experience it to develop my game. With all the financial drama in N.A, moving to Singapore seemed right.”
The hype for the VCT 2024, which is still a long way, is through the roof. Everyone’s eager to know how every team with a new roster will pan out. Moreover, Evil Geniuses, the team to take home the Valorant Champions 2023 trophy, is expected to surprise fans once again. However, this time, the completion from the Pacific Leagues will be much harsher!
