United States GP 2022 Predictions: Carlos Sainz to take the victory as Lewis Hamilton will draw up maximum points

Tension is running high at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin as the United States GP is drawing closer with every passing minute. While fans are all looking out for a groundbreaking performance from the two Red Bull racers so that the team can get their hands on the Constructors’ Championship trophy at the 2022 F1 US GP, the 2nd spot in the WDC Standings is also up for grabs for Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
United States has proven to be a growing market for Formula 1 in recent years, with the release of the popular Netflix docuseries Drive to Survive. Thus, the United States GP is expecting a record number of audience this year, and they have even increased their provisions to accomodate the crowd that is expected to gather for the race at COTA.

Right before the Main Race kickstarts, fans have been wondering how the results will turn out, especially since the fight seems so close after the fantastic Qualifying Session. Thus, we have put together three bold predictions for the upcoming United States GP that you must take a look at!
#3 The United States GP will be crucial for the Alpine v/s McLaren fight for P4 in the Constructors’ Championship
While Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes have pretty much locked up the top-order fight in F1, the middle order fight between Alpine and McLaren is something that has caught the attention of many fans. In the tumultuous Japanese Grand Prix, Alpine showed brilliant performance with a P5 finish from Esteban Ocon. And now, McLaren has to step up its game to show its French rival that it means business.
#2 Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will get some good points for Mercedes at the United States GP
The Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will be starting the United States GP from the third and fourth places respectively. In such a case, it must not be forgotten that Lewis holds the record for the most number of wins in Austin, with a whopping six United States GP victories to his name. Thus, Lewis is expected to put up a good fight to the two drivers in front of him to gain the most points for Mercedes. And Russell will be following his example to maximize the chances of a Mercedes race win.
#1 Carlos Sainz will take away the win for the 2022 F1 United States GP
While the safest choice would be to think that Red Bull prodigy Max Verstappen will capture the victory at COTA tomorrow, we will take the bold route and claim that it will be Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz will come up at the top of the grid in Austin. Max seemed quite out of it at the Qualifying for the United States GP, and considering the speed of the F1-75 on the straights, there seems to be a good chance that Carlos will convert his pole to a race win by successfully blocking the attacks of the current F1 World Champion.
These are our predictions for the upcoming United States Grand Prix. While the Drivers’ Championship has already been decided at the previous race in Suzuka, the results for the Constructors’ Championship is still awaited, and we believe it will be in the Circuit of the Americas, that Red Bull will get its first F1 World Championship since 2013. Now, it remains to be seen how things pan out at the United States GP in the end.
