Jey Uso Trolls His Critics After Making It to the 2026 King of The Ring Finals
Jey Uso is asking his naysayers to wait until he defeats Oba Femi to become the 2026 King of the Ring.

Jey Uso seems well aware of being arguably the most polarizing superstar in WWE today. While he still gets one of the loudest crowd reactions on the roster in whichever arena he steps in, the internet simply loves to dump on him. But there’s a reason for that. This past Friday on SmackDown, Uso ousted Je’Von Evans in the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament.
‘The Yeet Man’ will now look to do the unthinkable next weekend at Night of Champions when he takes on Oba Femi for the KOTR crown. The fans are disgraced by the fact that WWE is once again shoving Uso down their throats as a singles act. Moreover, the anger is also directed at the fact that Uso pinned LA Knight in his first-round matchup.
Knight getting robbed due to the same old Bloodline shenanigans has the fans up in arms. After getting the pinfall victory over a fan-favorite Knight, Uso then overcame 22-year-old Evans, who, as many fans believe, should have advanced instead of Jey, as it would’ve given ‘The Young OG’ the exposure he needs.
Amid the internet voicing its displeasure over Jey Uso‘s current trajectory, he’s leaning into it, which is smart on his part, especially if WWE is planning to turn him into a heel anytime soon. The right-hand man of Roman Reigns took to Instagram Stories, and he fired back at his trolls. He wrote, “The more you hate on me, The more broke u stay.” He also used a laughing emoji.

Uso came up with another one after that in which he said, “Yall really love me now? Watch when I beat Oba.” The 40-year-old knows that the online discourse will be unprecedented in case he actually ends up becoming the 2026 King of the Ring instead of ‘The Ruler’. And it could definitely happen in all likelihood. A certain beast is expected to cost Femi the KOTR crown.
‘The Bringer of War’ manhandled Dominik Mysterio in his KOTR semifinal final this past Monday on Raw. He grabbed a microphone immediately after dispatching ‘Dirty Dom’. Femi specifically mentioned expecting Lesnar to show up that night, but he didn’t. The Nigerian wrestler questioned if Lesnar was even a real man anymore or was just ducking and hiding from Femi.
This could be the impetus for ‘The Beast Incarnate’ to screw him over in the King of the Ring final with Jey Uso. Although it’s something the majority of the fans will loathe, so to speak, if WWE were to crown Uso the winner without having him pin Femi, it’d make sense for Lesnar to be the reason why Femi would lose.
There’s also a much better theory first proposed by Bully Ray a few weeks ago that’d prevent the wrestling timeline on the internet from turning into a cesspool. Ray mentioned on the Busted Open Radio podcast that WWE should go with the option of Oba Femi pulling double duty at SummerSlam.
Bully Ray believes WWE should book Oba Femi to face BOTH Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.

In that scenario, ‘The Ruler’ could settle his differences with Brock Lesnar on night one with a massive world title showdown against Roman Reigns on the second night by virtue of Femi winning the KOTR crown. Ray suggested Femi dethrone Reigns after retiring Lesnar just 24 hours apart. That, according to one-half of the Dudley Boyz, would transform Femi into the megastar that WWE is looking for.
Could LA Knight ruin Jey Uso’s King of the Ring chances?
It must be kept in mind that LA Knight hasn’t gotten his lick back on Jey Uso. A number of fans were expecting ‘The Megastar’ to cost ‘The Yeet Man’ his KOTR semifinal against Je’Von Evans on SmackDown. However, there were no run-ins, much to everyone’s surprise.

In fact, Uso and Evans received praise for putting on such a decent in-ring match regardless of the debate around its outcome. Speaking of Knight, he got choked out by Jacob Fatu on last week’s Raw after ‘The Unchosen One’ didn’t pay any heed to The Usos.
Knight is clearly in the crosshairs of the reinforced Bloodline, and that rage to avenge his KOTR debacle might drive him to interfere in Jey Uso’s crown-deciding final against Oba Femi. Moreover, Uso losing would open the floodgates to Roman Reigns starting to question his cousin’s ability once again. It was Reigns only who urged Uso to go after Cody Rhodes‘ Undisputed WWE title.
