“I’m going to go with the young guys”- Michael Ervin picks the duo of Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase ahead of Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford
Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase
The Super Bowl 56 is upon us as the Cincinnati Bengals led by Joe Burrow prepare themselves to face a tough test against the Los Angeles Rams led by Matthew Stafford at the SoFi Stadium which is the home of the Rams and will play a big part in how things fold.
The sensational duo of Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase has lit up the NFL this season as Chase in just his rookie season has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league, Burrow and Chase played together during their college career at LSU and just like there they have established the Bengals as a powerhouse in the AFC in just their first season together in the NFL.
Former NFL player and current ESPN analyst Michael Ervin was asked about the better duo between Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase for the Bengals or Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp for the Rams and he said, “I’m going to go with the young guys.”, as he thinks the young duo is better than the veteran duo of Kupp and Stafford.
Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase aim to win the First Super Bowl for the Bengals
Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase have led the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in 33 years and will hope to win the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
Michale Ervin spoke highly of JaMarr Chase as he said, “If I need a man to beat any man on the field, I’m taking JaMarr Chase to do that, he can do anything on the football field, he can run any route, he can play long, short or medium. He can attack any three mediums.”
He added, “I love Cooper Kupp and I love what he does for the Rams but I think he is more of a systematic receiver because he does such a great job in hitting the weakness of the opponent.”
He further said, “I take JaMarr Chase because he can beat anyone, if they double him up he can still beat them and this is why I’ll take the duo of Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase.”
