TMZ recently discovered footage that shows Vrabel and Russini walking on a pier before boarding a rented boat.

According to the gossip column, the video was taken in 2021 at a private lake in Putnam County, Tennessee. Vrabel was still the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, while Russini, who was pregnant at that time, worked for ESPN.

If TMZ’s estimation is accurate, then this video was taken a few months after the Titans lost in the AFC divisional round against the Cincinnati Bengals. Meanwhile, Russini was 6 or 7 months pregnant with her second baby. Despite the video’s atrocious resolution, one can easily notice her baby bump.

TMZ asked around the staff, who revealed that there was a strict no-photograph policy while Vrabel and Russini were enjoying their 3-4 hour private excursion.

Coach Vrabel wanted to enjoy a private weekend.

TMZ wrote

Now, the big question is: who took the video? TMZ did not give out any names, as usual. Veteran journalist John Ziegler proposed a wild theory. According to Ziegler’s hypothesis, Russini’s husband may have hired someone to keep an eye on the NFL insider.

What if… Her [Dianna Russini’s] husband has been sitting on the 2020 & 2021 footage, had previously confronted her and was wrongly convinced it was over, so when his PI caught them again in 2026, he decided to strategically release all the evidence in an order and timing that would completely screw both of them professionally.

Regardless of who filmed the video, the only thing that matters right now is that there’s more proof that Vrabel and Russini were secretly seeing each other despite being married to different people.

Is Dianna Russini’s son named after Mike Vrabel?

Last month, conspiracy theorists dug out a tweet posted by Russini, days after she gave birth to her second son, Michael Andrew. As it turns out, Vrabel’s government name is Michael George Vrabel. So, many just believed that Michael Andrew was named after Vrabel, or worse, that they are related.

However, TMZ found out that Russini named her second son to honor her older brother, Michael Russini. The kid’s middle name also pays tribute to another family member.

A few days after The Athletic launched an investigation to uncover the truth behind the photos published by the New York Post on April 9, Dinna Russini handed in her resignation letter.

Vrabel remains the head coach of the Patriots. The league has distanced itself from the matter, as it’s not a legal matter, but a personal one. The 50-year-old has admitted to his wrongdoing and checked into therapy on the final day of the 2026 NFL Draft.
