Imane Anys, also known as Pokimane is a Canadian- American internet personality as well as a renowned Twitch live streamer. She hails from Morocco and was born on 14 May 1996. Although she came to be known as a Twitch streamer, she also uploads content on her YouTube channel. Apart from streaming, she is one of the founding members for OfflineTV, an American organization of content creators.

When did she start streaming? 

She began her career on Twitch at a very young age as she created her account at 2013. Starting off as a League of Legends streamer, she came into the limelight in 2017 when she also streamed Fortnite. A year later, Pokimane became a partnered Twitch streamer and the rest is history as she is now one of the most followed female streamers on Twitch.

Other ventures 

Pokimane has not restricted herself to streaming as she has been a part of Hollywood movie, Free Guy. In addition to that, she holds the title of the Chief Creative Officer at RTS, a popular talent management form. Pokimane has also made a cameo appearance in Bella Poarch’s song ‘Inferno’.
